You only want better drinking water, not a whole system
There is a filter jug in the fridge that somebody has to keep refilling, or a slab of bottled water coming in from the supermarket each week. Either way, the chlorine taste is back the moment the jug runs out.

The standard setup is a filter housing inside the sink cabinet, teed off the cold supply and running to its own small tap on the benchtop. We mount it on the cabinet wall, off the floor, with an isolating valve.
If you would rather not drill a second hole in stone, a three-way mixer is neater. One spout, with hot and cold on the normal handle and filtered water on a separate lever, with the filtered line kept apart inside the tap.
Boiling and chilled units are the other option: an under-bench tank feeding a tap for near boiling or chilled water. They need cupboard space and a power point, so we check first. Often part of a kitchen plumbing job.
