Simple blockages cleared mechanically are usually a few hundred dollars. Jobs that need CCTV plus high-pressure jetting cost more. Excavation, if it's genuinely required, is quoted separately based on what the camera shows. We give you the full price before we start. No work goes ahead until you've agreed.
Probably not. Most blocked drain jobs are cleared with high-pressure jetting alone, no digging at all. We only excavate when the camera shows the pipe is broken or collapsed and there's no other way to fix it. If we do need to dig, we keep the hole as small as the job allows.
In most cases, yes. High-pressure jetting cuts through fine roots and flushes them out. For heavier root invasion we can also use mechanical cutters down the line. Digging is only needed when the roots have actually cracked or collapsed the pipe, and CCTV tells us which situation you're in.
